For Caitlin
Caitlin turned three last year and this is my letter to her.
Dear Caitlin,
Hey Princess! You are three years old and I love you sooooo much!
You celebrated your birthday at Disney World with a princess makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique followed by lunch with the princesses at Cinderella’s castle! You were pretty unsure at first and didn’t do much talking, but later your smile was about a mile wide!! It made for a fun memory!

You have developed quite the personality this year! You are all girl. You love pink so much that you believe your hair and your eyes are pink. I think your favorite book this year is Pinkalicious about a little girl who turns pink. Once, you refused to get out of the bath tub because your pink towel wasn’t clean and most days you just have to wear a pink dress. You and I had special mornings at the park this year and would stop first at Dunkin Donuts for a pink donut.
You also looooove makeup. You got some kid make-up for Christmas last year and have been in love ever since. One day I found you like this:
You like to paint your fingernails and your Daddy introduced you to the magic stuff that takes it off so that we can do it again.
This is the second year you have attended Bible Study with me, but you still have not spoken to your teachers! In your own good time, I guess.
You rode your first roller coaster this year—Goofy’s Barnstormer. When we got off I said: “Was that scary?” You said: “Yes.” I said “Do you want to do it again?” You said “Yes.” I think we did it three times that day.
You all of a sudden started drinking much more white milk because you believe it makes your "bottom" healthy.
You love your sister and you guys play really well together. I think you miss her now that she's in kindergarten.
You just came in while I'm typing this and found some make-up that you are applying right over your chicken nugget and ranch dressing covered face!
You are going up really fast! But you’ll always be my little angel!

I love you,
Mom
